We are seeking an experienced SAP FICO Consultant with strong expertise in Controlling (CO) , particularly in Product Costing, Internal Orders , and Material Ledger , and with hands-on experience in Central Finance (CFIN) implementations. Job Description:

One of our clients is seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP FICO Consultant to join our dynamic finance technology team. The ideal candidate will be a subject matter expert in SAP banking interfaces and the management of Data Medium Exchange (DME) files. This role requires a deep, hands-on understanding of configuring and executing DMEE algorithms to meet complex banking and regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will take ownership of our bank communication management landscape within SAP S/4HANA, ensuring robust, secure, and efficient payment processing and bank statement reconciliation. While the primary focus is on banking and payments, a solid foundational knowledge of core SAP Treasury and Cash Management processes is also required. You will be responsible for solution design, implementation, and ongoing support of critical banking integrations.

Key Responsibilities

Banking Interface Management: ○ Lead the design, implementation, and support of end-to-end banking interfaces within SAP S/4HANA. ○ Serve as the primary expert for Bank Communication Management (BCM) and SAP Multi-Bank Connectivity (MBC). ○ Configure and manage communication with various banking partners using different protocols (e.g., Host-to-Host SFTP, APIs). ○ Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to payment file transmission, acknowledgements (pain.002), and bank statement processing.

DME File Expertise: ○ Take full ownership of the Data Medium Exchange Engine (DMEE) for creating and managing payment file formats. ○ Design and configure complex DMEE trees from scratch for various payment methods (e.g., NEFT, RTGS, IMPS, international wires) and country-specific formats. ○ Expertly configure and customize DMEE algorithms using event modules, custom function modules, and conditions to handle intricate business logic and bank-specific requirements. ○ Execute, test, and validate DME files to ensure 100% accuracy and compliance with banking standards. ○ Manage the end-to-end process of payment runs (F110/F111), DME file generation, and subsequent processing.

Treasury & Cash Management Support: ○ Apply basic to intermediary knowledge of SAP Treasury & Risk Management (TRM) to support integrated processes. ○ Configure and support Electronic Bank Statement (EBS) processing, including search string configuration and posting rule definition for high-rate automation. ○ Assist in the configuration and management of Cash Management functionalities, including cash positioning, liquidity forecasting, and bank account management (BAM). ○ Provide support for In-House Cash (IHC) processes, if applicable.

Solution Delivery & Support: ○ Collaborate with finance business partners to gather requirements for new banking integrations, payment formats, or process enhancements. ○ Create detailed functional specifications for any required custom developments (RICEFW). ○ Conduct unit testing, system integration testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT). ○ Provide expert-level (L3) support for production issues related to payments, banking interfaces, and DME file generation.

Required Skills & Experience:

● A minimum of 8 years of hands-on functional experience in SAP FICO, with a strong specialization in SAP Banking and Treasury functions.

● Expert-Level Proficiency in DMEE: Demonstrable, in-depth experience in creating and configuring complex DMEE trees and algorithms. Must be able to explain and implement custom logic within the DMEE framework.

● Expert-Level Proficiency in Banking Interfaces: Proven experience with SAP Bank Communication Management (BCM), Electronic Bank Statements (EBS), and integrating with multiple banking partners.

● Payment Processing: Deep understanding of the Automatic Payment Program (APP) via F110 for various payment scenarios.

● Treasury & Cash Management: Basic to intermediary functional knowledge of SAP TRM and S/4HANA Cash Management is essential. The candidate should understand how banking processes integrate with the broader treasury landscape.
